What is the best way to get from Seminyak to the Gili Islands? Seminyak and the Gili Islands do not have a direct link. It will be a mix of a vehicle ride and a fast boat ride. You have a few choices! From either Padang Bai or Serangan harbors in Bali, you can hop on a fast boat to the Gili Islands. The majority of speed boat operators provide complimentary FREE hotel pickup and drop-off service from the Seminyak area. The drive from Seminyak to Serangan harbor is shorter, but the boat ride is lengthier, taking about two and a half hours.
